T he Mustang Club of St. Louis held its third annual all Ford car show at the Museum of Transportation on Saturday, June 9th. The show was to benefit Stray Rescue. Stray Rescue's sole purpose is to rescue stray animals in need of medical attention, restore them to health, and place them in loving adoptive homes. Virtually all of the pets that they save have been abused and neglected. They've been dumped on highways, or remote country roads. Abandoned in public parks, empty houses and dark alleys. They even saved dogs left chained behind buildings after their owners had moved away. Many of these animals were on hand for adoption.

MCSTL has always supported our causes and we responded with one of the best turnouts that we have had in a while with 22 cars and trucks which enabled us to win the club participation award. We promptly donated our winnings back to the folks at Stray Rescue. Our members were also successful too, as all of our members took home a trophy plaque.
